Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Master Reviews ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service. There are two user types: businesses ("Businesses") and consumers ("Consumers"); specific terms for each are set out in these sections.
2. Description of Service
Master Reviews is a reputation and loyalty platform that lets Businesses manage reviews and lets Consumers discover offers, earn rewards and redeem benefits. The Service includes:
- Collecting and managing customer reviews and feedback, and sending requests via email, SMS and WhatsApp
- Responding to reviews across multiple platforms and analyzing sentiment with AI
- Generating QR codes and managing customer databases (CRM)
- The "Master Rewards" loyalty program with points, tiers and per-business rewards
- Discount coupons, flash deals and dynamic-yield promotions
- Purchasable and redeemable digital gift cards
- Digital passes for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet (coupons, gift cards and loyalty passports)
- Indexable business and public profile pages, and a nearby-offers discovery feed
- A referral program and AI-powered lead capture
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.
3.2 Account Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3.3 Account Security
You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
4. Subscription Plans, Billing & Paid Products
4.1 Free Plan
New accounts start on our Free plan. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime from the Pricing page.
4.2 Subscription Fees
Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated.
4.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Stripe or, in regions where Stripe is unavailable, through Mercado Pago. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred. Payment processing is subject to the respective provider's terms.
4.4 Usage-Based Charges
Additional charges may apply for usage beyond your plan limits, including extra SMS and WhatsApp messages, and additional review requests.
4.5 One-Time Products
We offer one-time paid products and add-ons, including: business page upgrade (premium hosting), marketing kit, coupon promotion, Google Business Profile setup, and credit-points packages. These are billed at purchase and do not auto-renew.
4.6 Automatic Renewal
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your account settings.
4.7 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new fee.
5. Master Rewards Loyalty Program
Master Rewards is our loyalty program. Consumers earn points for actions such as reviews, purchases, referrals and visits, and can redeem them for rewards offered by Businesses.
- Points have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable between accounts
- Points and rewards may expire according to rules set by each Business and by the platform
- Each Business defines the rules for its own loyalty "Passport" (points per action, threshold and reward)
- The platform may award additional points for milestones (visit streaks, birthdays, referrals, "Founding Patron" status)
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend or cancel the program, unredeemed points or rewards, with or without notice
- Any attempt to manipulate, improperly redeem or fake points or rewards may result in account cancellation and forfeiture of points
6. Digital Gift Cards
Businesses may issue digital gift cards and users may purchase or redeem them. By purchasing or using a gift card you agree:
- The card value is loaded at purchase and deducted with each partial redemption
- Cards may carry an expiry date as defined by the issuing Business
- Cards are non-refundable, not replaceable for cash and not resaleable, except where required by law
- You are responsible for safeguarding the redemption code; we are not liable for unauthorized use of a disclosed code
- Businesses are responsible for honoring the balance of the cards they issue
7. Digital Wallet Passes
The Service may generate digital passes for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet (coupons, gift cards and loyalty passports). Generating and using these passes is subject to the terms of service of Apple and Google respectively. We do not control third-party wallet features and are not liable for their availability, compatibility or policy changes.
8. Public Content, Marketplace & Discovery
The Service includes public surfaces: business profiles, unclaimed business profiles, public reviews, landing pages and an offer discovery feed. By posting public content you agree:
- You grant a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service
- Reviews must be genuine and based on real experiences; fake, fraudulent or misleading reviews are prohibited and may be moderated or removed
- Businesses may sponsor offers and configure dynamic-yield promotions; sponsorship is disclosed to Consumers
- We may apply AI moderation to detect inappropriate content, spam or suspicious reviews, and reserve the right not to publish or to remove content
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of content posted by users or Businesses
8.1 Zero Tolerance & Content Moderation
Master Reviews has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content that includes spam, harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit material, violence, illegal content, or any material that violates these Terms will be removed immediately and the offending user's account may be suspended or permanently terminated.
- You can report any objectionable content using the "Report" button available on each review or public content
- You can block any abusive user using the "Block" button; doing so will instantly remove that user's content from your feed and notify our team about the inappropriate content
- Our team reviews all content reports within 24 hours of receipt
- Actions we may take include: removing the content, temporarily suspending the account, or permanently ejecting the user from the platform
- We reserve the right to remove content and eject users at our discretion to protect the integrity and safety of the community
9. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Send spam or abuse our messaging features
- Violate any third-party rights, including privacy, publicity or intellectual property
- Upload malicious code, viruses or harmful software
- Gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Scrape or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Collect or store personal data about others without consent
- Create fake, fraudulent or misleading reviews, coupons or gift cards
- Manipulate the points or loyalty system
10. Intellectual Property Rights
10.1 Our Content
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Master Reviews and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
10.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify and display it solely to provide and improve the Service.
10.3 Feedback
Any feedback or suggestions you provide about the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Argentina's Law 25.326. You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents from your customers before collecting their data.
12. Service Availability & Modifications
12.1 Availability
We strive to provide high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance or technical issues.
12.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services, which may include Stripe and Mercado Pago (payments), Twilio (SMS/WhatsApp), Google (Maps, Business Profile, Calendar, Contacts), Apple Wallet, Google Wallet and Resend (email). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Master Reviews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Master Reviews and its officers, employees and agents from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your content submitted to the Service.
16. Termination
16.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time through your settings or by contacting support.
16.2 By Us
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data may be deleted after 30 days.
17. Dispute Resolution
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Master Reviews is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
17.2 Arbitration
Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
18.2 Severability
If any provision is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
18.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Master Reviews.
18.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
